At Telkart LLC, protecting your privacy is a top priority. In compliance with Section 222 of the Communications Act and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules (47 C.F.R. § 64.2001 et seq.), we have adopted the following policies to safeguard Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI).

What Is CPNI?

CPNI refers to information we gather as part of providing you with telecommunications services. This includes data such as:

  • Type and features of services you use
  • Call details (duration, destination, frequency)
  • Service usage patterns

It does not include basic subscriber details such as your name, address, or telephone number.

How We Use Your CPNI

Telkart uses CPNI only to provide and support services you’ve already subscribed to, or as required by law. We will never sell your CPNI or use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

If any use or disclosure of your CPNI is not permitted under FCC regulations, we will seek your prior approval before proceeding.

Protecting Your Information

We follow industry best practices to prevent unauthorized access to your CPNI. Our systems are designed to ensure only authorized personnel or representatives can access this information. Still, no system can guarantee 100% protection against unauthorized access.

We also notify customers of key account changes such as password updates or changes to the address of record.

Employee Access & Training

Our staff is trained to handle CPNI with strict confidentiality. We permit access only under the following verified conditions:

  1. You confirm your identity via a pre-set password
  2. Information is sent to your registered address
  3. We call your number of record to discuss CPNI

Disciplinary measures are enforced in case of policy violations.

CPNI & Marketing

Currently, we do not use CPNI for sales or marketing campaigns. Should we choose to do so in the future, we will:

  • Obtain your opt-in consent beforehand
  • Maintain detailed records of how your data is used
  • Allow you to change your consent at any time

Your approval (or denial) will remain in effect until you revoke it.

Third-Party Access

We only share CPNI with third parties (e.g., contractors or affiliates) when necessary to support your services—and only after:

  • Obtaining your explicit consent
  • Ensuring third parties sign confidentiality agreements
  • Verifying they use the information only for the approved purpose

We do not sell or market your CPNI to any third party.

Breach Notification

In the event of a CPNI breach:

  • We will notify the U.S. Secret Service and FBI within seven (7) days
  • We will notify affected customers after notifying the authorities, unless doing so would increase the risk of harm
  • We maintain breach records for at least two (2) years

Annual Compliance

Each year, Telkart submits a CPNI Compliance Certification to the FCC, affirming our adherence to federal regulations and the protection of your data.
